We are a professional accountancy firm seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Accounts Manager to join our practice. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of business clients and oversee the delivery of accounting and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts.
- Supervise accounting and financial administration work carried out for clients.
- Review accounts, reconciliations and financial information for accuracy.
- Liaise directly with clients regarding their accounting and financial requirements.
- Monitor client balances, credit terms and outstanding payments.
- Coordinate accounting work and ensure client deadlines are met.
- Supervise and support members of the accounts team, reviewing their work.
- Identify accounting issues and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year’s relevant post-qualification experience in accounting or financial accounts, preferably within an accountancy practice.
- A master’s degree in accounting and finance from a reputable institution.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience supervising or reviewing accounting work is desirable.
